Private Tuition

I can work with you in the comfort of your home or mine. This can often be useful if you are new to yoga and would like some help with the fundamentals before you join a class. Private tuition can also be very beneficial if you are recovering from an injury or are returning to exercise after a health problem or if you are antenatal/postnatal. My first visit will be a fact finding mission, to get as much information as I can to tailor your practice.

If you are particularly interested in developing an aspect of your yoga practice which you feel is not addressed in a general class, please discuss this with me and I may be able to help.

Prices are dependent on travel cost and the amount of tuition time required. Discounts for block bookings are available. Please contact me for a chat about this.

“Yesterday I had the most incredible session with Claire. Literally months of stress, tension and pain from my autoimmune illnesses drizzled away in 90 mins. I’m writing this the morning after as I spent yesterday floating on a cloud, and have finally had a great nights sleep…
Claire taught me a variety of breathing techniques including pranayama for grounding, and I let out tension with some very satisfying ujjayi breaths. My body struggles with rheumatoid and osteoporosis arthritis and fibromyalgia, but Claire had carefully sorted me a bespoke programme of yoga poses which finally opened me up and released all that stuck energy. While all this was happening she used an oil diffuser with the heavenly Do’terra Balance oil, also used with a carrier for some much appreciated massage. Best of all was my relaxation session towards the end, I was made exceptionally comfortable, with every joint supported, with Lavender oil on an eye pillow…the most incredible visualisation meditation took me far far away from every worry, every stress and every ache.
